On your map showing estimates of populations of Barn Owls in Greater Manchester, it states 'there are only about 5 pairs...'. This is totally wrong. I have done NRCs for 10 pairs already this year in what is only a moderate year and expect to do a few more yet where they are on eggs. And I am sure there are other pairs in suitable habitat that we just don't have the time to get round to. An informed estimate would be 20-30 pairs minimum.
