For those that monitor Litte Owls as well as Barn Owls,i came across the first of this years Little Owls on 4 eggs on the 27/03,for us(oxfordshire)this is a month earlier than usual,also came accross this weekend a adult Little Owl that had been predated and half eaten by a squirrel which had occupied the nestbox.
The male owl was still around the nest site.
